Clayton has deep farming roots within the school district and returned home to farm alongside his father, continuing a proud family tradition. As a former educator, he brings valuable insight into the importance of student achievement and educational excellence. His agricultural background, educational experience, and strong connection to the community provide a unique perspective in his service to the Board. Clayton is committed to supporting opportunities that help all students succeed.
A lifelong farmer with deep homesteading roots in the area, Don exemplifies the values of hard work, stewardship, and dedication. His commitment to agriculture reflects the same strong sense of responsibility he has brought to the school board throughout his years of service. Don first served on the Board from 1983 to 1986 and returned in 1990, continuing to serve with distinction to the present day. His leadership has made an amazing lasting impact on the district and the students it serves.

Jason has served since 2021, bringing a unique perspective as both a German teacher and gardener at the New Miami Colony. As a Colony member and parent of children attending the school, he offers valuable insight into Hutterite culture, beliefs, and traditions while maintaining a strong personal connection to the district’s success. His experience helps strengthen the partnership between the school and Colony community and supports thoughtful decisions that benefit students and families.
